From April 1, 2026, heavy vehicles without a TAG device will not be able to use Serbian motorways.
This is not an April Fools' joke. Putevi Srbije is making electronic toll collection mandatory for all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. Cash and card payments at toll booths? No longer accepted for this category.
What do foreign carriers need to do?
👉 Get a Serbian ENP TAG. You can pick it up at the Serbian border through DKV Mobility or UTA Edenred using your fleet card.
Important: TAG devices issued in other countries are NOT accepted in Serbia. Only the Serbian ENP TAG works.
Also from April 1: toll collection begins on the Belgrade Ring Road for heavy trucks — a section that was previously free.
⚠️ Driving without a TAG is an administrative offence under the Law on Fees for Use of Public Goods (Sl. glasnik RS br. 109/2025). Check current penalties at putevi-srbije.rs
Less than a week to the deadline. Sort your TAG now — don't get caught at the border.
